Q. What materials are the USC units made from?
A. Steel frame and base with customer specified wall paneling such as steel composite sandwich board, translucent plastic composites, corrugated steel, or other high tech materials.
Q. Are the USC units waterproof?
A. Yes, we have over 60 quality control checks that are performed on each box before they are shipped, including 4 individual checks on the roof to ensure no water leaks.
Q. What is the consumer useable space inside of a unit?
A. Depends on size of box, of course. For example a 16' USC Z-Box is 920 cu ft; 12' USC Z-Box is 686 cu ft.
Q. What is your roof made out of and how long does it last?
A. We make a translucent plastic roof and a metal roof with a life cycle of 30+ years.
Q. What is the max cargo load?
A. It depends on the size of box and customer's requirements, however, our standard floor weight capacity is 12,500 lbs for 16' unit.
Q. How long does it take to set up or breakdown a unit?
A. Our typical Z-Box design takes only 15 minutes and our Polar Bear Box takes approximately 40 minutes.
Q. How many people does it require to setup/breakdown?
A. 2 men + 1 man on forklift applies for all of our boxes. How many folded units can you stack on top of one another? With our special stacking brackets, 6 units can be stacked horizontally in the folded mode.
Q. How many assembled units can you stack on top of one another?
A. This depends on our customer's needs and how we customize the box. Our standard design allows for 3 completely loaded assembled units to be stacked on top of each other. Q.
